Carnivor Pizza- Easiest Meal You'll Ever Make

Updated: 2 days ago

This is my current go-to meal when time is tight, everyone’s hungry, and I don't want a sink full of dishes.

It’s high in protein, ridiculously simple, and hits that pizza craving without the regret of feeling like you just had a "splurge" meal".

What makes this even better...

It makes awesome leftovers!

I love having it cold strait out of the fridge. It's so satisfying and hits the spot every time.

It keeps me from snacking or choosing less healthy options.

🍕 Sausage Pizza Bake (No Fuss, High Protein)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb HEAL Farms Mild Italian sausage (chub)

  • Pizza sauce or marinara

  • Shredded cheese (mozzarella is classic, but use what you love)

  • Your favorite toppings (pepperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives… anything goes)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F

  2. Take your sausage and press it evenly into a greased glass baking dish (this is your “crust”)

  3. Spread a layer of pizza or marinara sauce on top

  4. Add cheese (don’t be shy here)

  5. Sprinkle on your favorite toppings

  6. Bake for 25 minutes

That’s it. No mixing bowls. No complicated steps. Just layer and bake.

Why This Recipe Keeps Winning

  • High protein → thanks to that sausage base

  • No prep stress → no crusts, no dough, no mess

  • Flexible → use whatever toppings you have on hand

  • Fast cleanup → one dish, done

  • Awesome leftovers → I almost like this better cold the next day

And maybe my favorite part: it feels like comfort food, but it’s made with super healthy ingredients.

About That “Extra Juice”…

If you’ve seen other versions of this recipe, you might notice they add things like eggs or crushed pork rinds to absorb moisture.

Totally fine.

But also… totally unnecessary.

The sausage will release some juices while it bakes.

If it really bothers you, you can drain it slightly after baking, but I usually just slice, serve, and call it a win.

It’s absolutely delicious—and way less work than mixing in eggs and ground pork rinds.

Make It Yours

This recipe is basically a blank canvas. A few ideas to switch it up:

  • Go classic: pepperoni + mozzarella

  • Load it up with veggies for a little balance

  • Add banana peppers or hot honey for a sweet/spicy kick

  • Try different cheeses like provolone or a mozzarella blend

Or… don’t overthink it. The simplest version is still the one I keep going back to.

Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!
