Who says you can't have a party and eat healthy too??
Our family does it ALL THE TIME.
Here are some of our favorite appetizers for family gatherings, game nights, and any excuse to snack.
Easy to make, crowd-pleasing, and totally guilt-free!
Hope these help you celebrate while sticking to your healthy habits!
Note- I normally double or triple these recipes when serving at a party.
#1 Garlic Parmesan Wings

Ingredients:
1 pack of HEAL Farms Chicken Wings
6 tablespoons of butter (melted)
3/4 cups of fresh, finely shredded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup fresh parley (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
Place wings in single layer on greased baking sheet.
Bake until light brown (about 40 minutes). Flip half way though cooking.
In large bowl, combine melted butter and all other ingredients.
Gently coat wings and return to baking sheet for additional 10-20 minutes (depending on how crispy you like them).
For extra crispness, turn broiler on for last couple minutes.
If desired, garnish with extra parmesan cheese and parsley.
Serve with bleu cheese or ranch dressing. (I use Primal Kitchen or homemade)
#2 Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients:
1 pound of HEAL Farms Ground Chicken (Savory Blend is best!)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup almond flour
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup buffalo sauce
1/4 cup blue cheese or ranch
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Grease baking sheet or large glass casserole dish.
Combine ground chicken with parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Stir well.
Roll into 1 1/4 inch balls, place on sheet, and bake for 4-5 minutes until all sides are browned.
Place meatballs in slow cooker, add buffalo sauce, gently toss, and cook on low for 2 hours.
Serve drizzled in bleu cheese or ranch if desired. (I use Primal Kitchen or homemade)
#3 Creamy Jalapeno Chicken Sausage Dip (Goes great with Recipe # 4)

Ingredients:
1 pound of HEAL Farms Italian Chicken Sausage (chub not links)
2 medium jalapenos (seeded and minced)
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups shredded Monterrey cheese (or similar cheese)
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Cook the sausage in cast iron skillet, breaking up large chunks.
Once fully cooked, add cream cheese and sour cream and stir over medium-low heat until cream cheese is melted.
Stir in garlic powder, jalapenos, and Monterrey cheese.
Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over top and place in the oven for 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Serve with parsley sprinkled on top and Siete chips for dipping.
Pro Tip- swap your tortilla chips for Chicken Chips! (Recipe # 4 below). It's serious the most delicious combination.
#4 Chicken Chips
These are insanely good with Recipe # 3 Creamy Jalapeno Chicken Sausage Dip

Ingredients:
1 pack of HEAL Farms Chicken Skins
Salt to taste
Optional- after baking, sprinkle with seasonings like garlic, pepper, smoked paprika, or chili powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Pat skins dry with paper towel.
Pull off any extra fat chunks. (I leave most of it on, just not the big pieces)
Lay skins flat on wire rack over baking sheet or directly on lightly greased baking sheet. Make sure they're not overlapping. And use a baking sheet with a lip to prevent grease from running off.
Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown (should be hard/crunchy when touched). Flip half way through if no wire rack.
Some thick pieces take longer to cook. I remove the smaller ones when I see they're done and allow thicker pieces to cook an extra 1-2 minutes.
The skins may not be completely hard until they've cooled down.
Optional- sprinkle with desired seasonings like garlic, pepper, smoked paprika, or chili powder
Enjoy!
Tips- using a wire rack can help them crisp more evenly. An air fry can work good as well.
